Description
SORD AN/PRC Tilt Pouch
The SORD AN/PRC Tilt Pouch is engineered for experienced users of the Harris AN/PRC 152 or international handheld radios, addressing three key challenges:
- Front Panel Access: The pouch tilts for easy access to the radio’s front panel.
- Overheating: Crafted from composite materials to help manage heat dissipation.
- Radio Length: While the size of the radio can’t be changed, the pouch accommodates the addition of a battery eliminator for added flexibility.
Key Features:
- Primary Functionality: Designed for GPS-enabled radios, the pouch is optimized for use with a battery eliminator/splitter, but can also accommodate radios with a battery fitted when worn lower on a battle belt.
- MOLLE Attachment: Secures using 2 vertical MOLLE columns, positioning the GPS antenna for optimal separation from your ballistic plate.
- Belt Compatibility: Fits belts up to 50mm in vertical orientation and can also be worn horizontally (without tilt function).
- Quick Access: Provides full access to side connectors, volume, PTT, and squelch buttons, and allows for fast battery swaps without removing the radio. The one-handed tilt mechanism gives immediate access to the front panel while protecting the screen.
- Adjustable Fit: Supports adjustable lengths for use with a battery eliminator, splitter, or 5.8Ah battery.
- Durable Construction: Made from rugged 1000 Denier Cordura Nylon and lightweight materials, featuring cable keepers and side covers for added convenience.
Note: Radio and ancillaries not included.
