Battle of Coral–Balmoral Commemorative Medallion
This medallion has been struck to honour those who served between 12 May and 6 June 1968 during the actions at Fire Support Bases Coral and Balmoral. Australian, New Zealand, and American forces were involved in a series of engagements approximately 20km north of Biên Hòa, South Vietnam. Units from the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) were strategically deployed along key enemy routes used by the Viet Cong (VC) and North Vietnamese Army (NVA) to engage hostile forces.
The medallion measures 60mm x 25mm.
