The KA-BAR 1282 D2 Extreme Fighting/Utility Knife is a high-performance fixed blade built for demanding field, survival, and combat situations. One of the first production knives made with D2 tool steel, it offers exceptional hardness, edge retention, and toughness—qualities typically found in custom knives.

The 7" clip point blade is laser cut and undergoes a three-phase heat treatment process, then finished with a protective black powder coating. Paired with an oval-shaped Kraton G handle, the knife delivers a secure, non-slip grip in any condition.

Featuring powdered metal guards and a butt cap, this knife is balanced for action and built for long-term reliability. A Kydex sheath is included for dependable carry and quick deployment.
