SORD Straight Mat – Insulated

The SORD Insulated Straight Mat is an enhanced version of the popular Straight Mat, designed to provide improved thermal performance while maintaining a compact, field-ready profile. The addition of thermal reflective lining and PrimaLoft® Cross Core Ultra insulation helps retain body heat, making it well suited to operations in cold and austere environments.

Designed to fit within the sleeping gear compartment of the SCE issued pack, the mat offers increased length to help maintain core body temperature while remaining lightweight and easy to carry.

The exterior is constructed from durable 500D nylon in coyote to protect the insulation and reduce visual signature when mounted externally. The inner surface uses lightweight 210D ripstop nylon for improved durability and reduced weight.

For transport, the mat includes two cord loops with toggles to secure it when rolled. Four integrated webbing loops also allow the lower compression straps of most field packs to pass through for secure external mounting.
