The PLATATAC HW Tear Away Med Pouch Horizontal (TAMPH) is a compact, low-profile IFAK solution designed for fast, one-handed access in high-stress situations. Built using premium Blue Force Gear® ULTRACOMP® laminate and MILSPEC materials, the TAMPH is engineered to perform under pressure.
Designed for ambidextrous use, the pouch mounts horizontally to MOLLE/PALS platforms or directly to first-line belts. A Fastex buckle and dual webbing handles allow for rapid deployment—simply unclip and pull across to detach the pouch from its Velcro hook and loop backing, enabling you to work beside the casualty without removing your gear.
Once opened via dual heat-shrink paracord zippers, the TAMPH lays completely flat to reveal a clean internal layout with elastic loops and laser-cut slots for organising bandages, shears, gloves, and other critical items. A flat zippered front pocket is ideal for storing flat items such as a 9-liner, CPR face shield, or casualty card.
The pouch features dual external tourniquet storage points: one on the mounting platform and another with a removable elastic retention strap beneath the pouch. The under-hanging strap suits most leading TQs, including CAT and SOF-T, and can be detached and used elsewhere on your kit.
